After a tour of Korea, Cuba and Italy in the first three weekends of the Intercontinental Rounds in the World League this year, Russia comes home to play in Kazan on July 4 and 5 against Cuba. Vladimir Alekno's men beat Cuba in the first two matches between the teams in Havana, winning 3:1 in the first match and 3-0 in the second. Russia lead the standings in Pool B. Russia will be without Pavel Abramov, who has damaged a shoulder and is ruled out for the foreseeable future. With three rounds left to play, Italy and Cuba have enough time to overtake Russia in the pool, but i think this wouldn't happen. My pick is Russia 3:0 sets.
