Gulbis is the only player to get a set from Nadal during the fortnight and the Latvian had the sort of serve and aggression required to pose the Spaniard a question. Doing it for one set and sustaining it for three are completely different. Schuettler has nothing like the weaponry required to trouble Nadal, Murray suggested the Spaniard is vastly improved to the 2007 version, more aggressive taking the ball earlier and hitting it harder. That is a scary prospect for anyone and although Nadal doesn't possess the biggest of serves in terms of speed, it has unerring accuaracy as his stats prove 81% behind his first serve and 61% behind his second ball. He has dropped serve just three times during the fortnight and having spent four hours fewer on court than Schuettler should have a good freshness advantage over the German. Nadal is just superior in all areas to Schuettler and anything other than a straight sets win would be a major surprise.
