With two wins and a draw and eight goals scored in their last three games, the Columbus Crew remain at home, entertaining the Chicago Fire at Crew Stadium. The Fire come into the match in the midst of a four-game losing streak and a goalless stretch of more than 5 1/2 hours, though a scoreless draw last weekend came after three consecutive losses. But the Fire won at midweek in the U.S. Open Cup, scoring four goals in a win against third-tier opposition; they advanced to the tournament proper after beating the Crew in a play-in match a month ago.
