Vienna native and crowd favorite Jurgen Melzer played yesterday against Rainer Schuettler 2-6 7-5 7-5, it was a game where the german man played a tennis without quality, a lot of mistakes, without inspiration and only his good serve could keep in game and obviously Melzer's not quality tennis. No doubts about Kitzbuhel's favourite that he is motivated, but still there is a big difference in class between him and the italian player. Potito Starace comes after the victory 6-1 6-2 against Argentine Eduardo Schwank, but I will not going to overrate him for that because Schwank purely gived as a present the game. Despite the fact that Starace is a better clay-courter the italian is more defensive player while Melzer is more offenisive, in these situations the chances for a surprise drop off.
