Toronto FC return back home to BMO Field to take on the San Jose Earthquakes in a key contest for both to keep pace in their respective conferences. TFC are coming off back-to-back losses on the road, running their away losing run to four games, yet could still be tied for third with a win by the end of the weekend. The Earthquakes are back on the road after a draw in their last match, their first home game for more than a month, extended their winless run to six games. It's the first meeting ever between the clubs, expansion teams over the past two years.
