After Sharapova retired from Beijing Ivanovic chances are going up for a gold medal or generally for any medal at her 1st part at Olypmic Games at all. Ivanovic is World No.1 in WTA rankings, but Jankovic will take her 1st place on 11th August. Ivanovic, you feel, will have a big edge in the experience of a Grand Slam final having publically claimed that she had learnt so much in previous losses at the last hurdle to Henin (RG) and Sharapova (this year's AO). Admittedly, in both those games, she ran into an on-top-of-the-world Henin who was bidding for three straight titles at RG last year, and Sharapova looked like an invincible force in January so there was little she good do. She has won RG defeated Safina which is in top fit at the moment. Ana is doing a great job at yes strarting showing it. Ivanovic is a little less erratic (usually), has slightly bigger weaponry off the ground (though there's little in it) and has big serving. Her main opponents Serena (eventualy semis) and Venus (eventulay final) has had more time for rests refusing last 2 tournaments in Toronto and Los Angeles, but I think Ana has big chance for success. She told her big dream is to take a gold at Olympic Games, cuz as she said you have chance to play only 2 or 3 times at all, as long as you can play at Grand Slam every year. I'll gona back up Ana to win a gold medal at Beijing Olympic Games.
