Montpellier has high ambitions. They finished last season at the middle of the table, in the upper half. Team did not suffer too many changes, and Roland Courbis is looking to promotion battle. Montpellier bases their game on strong defense and counters. They did not have lot of luck with the draw, and after visit to Strasbourg that ended bad for them; it is obvious that scoring goals will be a crucial problem in this season too. Their rival, Amiens, is average team that finished 15th at the end of the last season, even they have been among the favorites at the start of the season. In the meantime, they sold couple of important players, including Buengo and Sami and therefore this time we can not expect much from them. They should be able to stay in the league, but anything more would be surprise.
