Having said that, it is the same for Jankovic but the Serb so often gets away with it because she is rock solid off the ground, can brutalise the return with great angles and depth and is one of the best ball retrievers on tour. This looks destined to be a topsy-turvy 3-set match with both plays a nervous wreck - Dementieva has made 2 Slam finals and choked badly in each while Jankovic is no doubt the best player on tour never to have made a decider before and why not this time.
