What a performance form Andy Roddick against Gonzalez.That was the best play by him form a long time. and it seems that he finally is in a great form after long while of bad play.He played tremendous tennis and I that was the best play from any player in this men draw on the tour.If he maintains to deliver such aces as he did in that match no one will have a chance to stop him form winning US Open even Rafa Nadal.Beside his first serve which is doing a great job for him he also moves very good and in the play against such a player like Gonzalez he also had an advantage.I don't know really how to describe this but he has improved in every department of the play.Roddick is fast and he moves very good,he makes very good shots,both form forehand and backhand.He has already beat Djokovic this year with 7-6,6-3 so with the huge home support he will be again a force to beat this year.
Novak Djokovic didn't impressed so far.He is not playing so good as he used to for example in Beijing and he doesn't look in very good shape.He had a lot of trouble against good servers like Kendrick and Cilic but Roddick has much better developed play than this two.Djokocic is known as a player who doesn't like to defend and that he always likes to play aggressive tennis and to dominate in the points.Against Roddick it will be very hard to stop him from taking the domination.As I have seen him he makes plenty of unforced errors and he always looks like he doesn't make a good position for a shot.Also Novak had a plenty of problems with breathing in the last match against Robredo who made him to work hard for his points so I think that in that department Roddick will also have an advantage.
So I think that Roddick has a bigger chance to go trough as he looks right now in a better form than Serb.
