Tampa is playing good hockey lately:in last 6 games they lost in regular time only once with damn good Capitals(11 wins on the trot atm inc. OT what is their new club record).
They lost in Washington 2:3(and equalized from 0:2 to 2:2 during the game).
Today they will face quite good for them opponent: NYI.
NYI made a progress in comparison with previous season but still their problem is winning away games. In 30 road games this season they won only 4 and moreover did not win in last 11 visits at Florida's rink!
What also is easily visable is the fact that Florida are defending well lately while NYI scored only 2 goals in last 3 road matches and 7 in last 6 overall!
Also Tampa have 3points more than NYI and played 1 game less. Another important factor is that Tampa seldom are loosing at home this season:only 6 times in 26 games is a good,really good balance and achievment.
Summing up:Florida is a bit better team, is presenting better form atm and home rink is very very decisive factor(big boost for Tampa and minus for visitors)
